It was 8 years ago when I left Toyohashi and my life is quite different now. 

（私が豊橋を離れてから8年が経ち、現在の私の生活は大きく変わりました。）

I have a  4  years old daughter, Aska, that is attending the second year at the kindergarten and is able also to speak in Japanese.

（私には4歳になる「あすか」という娘がおり、幼稚園に通い始めて2年目になります。彼女は日本語も話すことができます。）

I’m working as saxophone teacher in Pavia Music High School. Is a very good and exiting job. We organize a lot of concerts for the students during the year and musical exchanges: in april we will going in Swizerland for a concert in Bellinzona Cathedral with a local Music Academy ; In May we’ll have 1 week exchange with a German Music High Scholl from Wupperthal: all the students will have rehearsals for a big concert in Pavia and the occasion to stay together for a long time. Every Italian student will give hospitality to a German one at home. （私は現在サックスフォーンの講師としてパヴィア音楽高等学校で働いています。とても楽しい仕事です。年間たくさんのコンサートを学生のために企画し、4月には音楽交流としてベリンツォナでのコンサートのためにスイスを訪れています。また、５月にはウッパータールにあるドイツ音楽高等学校と１週間の交換留学を行っています。さらに、全ての学生にパヴィアでの大きなコンサートを経験する機会があり、長い期間共に過ごす経験が与えられます。そしてどのイタリア人の学生も自宅でドイツの学生を歓迎するのです。）

I continue also with my concerts and particularly with my saxophone quartet called Midnight Sax Quartet. We have a lot of concert in Northern Italy. Last year we had a Musical Tour in the area of Sanremo and for this summer we are going to play in Festivals in Liguria and Tuscany too. We have a extensive repertory going from classical music to contemporary and Southern American music. We have also 2 world famous Composers that are writing new works for us.

（また私はコンサートを続けており、特に我がサックスフォーン四重奏団、「ミッドナイト・サックス・カルテット」の活動に力を注いでいます。イタリアの北部に数多くのコンサートを開いています。昨年はサンレノ地方で音楽ツアーを敢行し、今年の夏にはリグリアとトスカニーの音楽祭で演奏する予定です。私たちはクラッシックからコンテンポラリーや南アフリカ音楽まで幅広いレパートリーで演奏します。また、世界でも名の知れた２名の作曲家が私たちのために新曲を作曲してくれる予定です。）

Two years ago I had also a very good music experience: I was the saxophone player for The Musical Shrek Italian Tour and I had the great occasion to have performance all around my Country and  in Italian most famous Theathers.

（2年前私は素晴らしい音楽の経験をすることができました。その当時私はシュレックのミュージカルでサックスフォーン奏者として働いていました。そのため、イタリアで最も有名な劇場やイタリアの様々な場所で演奏をすることができました。）

Since I become a Toyohashi Goodwill Partner I had only one occasion to come back in Toyohashi some years ago when I had a concert with my wife at the Shimin Bunkakaikan. I really miss Toyohashi and Japan specially for the friendly people and for the Japanese spring time with his colours, perfumes and festivals.  I hope to came back with my family in Toyohashi very soon, maybe for the next Christmas holidays.

（豊橋親善大使になってから、何年か前に一度だけ市民文化会館で妻と一緒にコンサートをするため豊橋に帰る機会がありました。私は豊橋や日本が今でもとても恋しく、特にやさしい人々や色鮮やかで芳しくお祭りなど活気にあふれた日本の春を懐かしく思います。近い将来、おそらく次のクリスマス休暇に、家族と共に豊橋に帰れることを心から願っております。）
